Parenting by One was born in Mary Beth's heart more than ten years ago. As a single parent, she faced all of life's "normal" situations, and at times was just overwhelmed. With the responsibilities of motherhood, she also worked full-time, kept up her home, and was very involved in her church. Had it not been for good friends, it would have been nearly impossible to do all this. She always felt that God had a plan for her to encourage single parents. Because of this, she create the book "Saving Our Singles - 101 Ways the Church can Reach the Single Parent," to help churches as they minister to single parents.
